How to Support Ham Scout Group

• Give your time: Your time is more valuable to us than your money! Why not join us and become a uniformed leader or assistant? You will get a lot out of it, learn new skills and gain experience that will benefit your daily life and career. If not, just offer to help the existing leaders at section meetings, outings and other events. You can also help with the administration of the group by becoming a Trustee or joining the admin team to support the leaders and the Trustee Board/a> and help keep the group running behind the scenes.
• Help with our fundraising activities: particularly Ham Fair, held on the second Satuday of June each year. The group do most of the "heavy lifting" for this iconic community event and there is always something you can do to help - whether with the preparation, build, running our stalls or helping the organising team or else clearing up afterwards. We also run other fundraising events through the year. Keep in touch.
• Fundraise for us: You don't have to climb Everest or swim the channel for us, but anything you can do by yourself or as a team will be great. Let us know and we will help.
• Make a donation:
  • Donate online, quickly and securely: £5, £10, or £25.
  • Make cheques payable to "Ham Scout Group" and send to our treasurer
  • contact the treasurer for our bank details if you wish to make a payment by direct transfer.
  • There is a collection tin in the hut if you wis to give cash and we can take card payments at the hut too.
• Support us by shopping online:
  1. Do your Amazon shopping via smile.amazon.co.uk and select Ham Scout Group as your nominated charity.
     If you are an Android user and have the latest version of the Amazon Shopping App, open the App on your Android device; View Settings and select AmazonSmile; Follow the in App instructions to complete the process.
     If you are an IOS user, the IOS version of the Amazon shopping app does not currently support Smile. Use the app to fill your basket but then use your browser to go to smile.amazon.co.uk to complete your purchases.
     Amazon donate 0.5% of most purchases, including Amazon Prime purchases, towards your nominated charity.

     2. Install the Easyfundraising mobile app
     3. Add the Donation reminder to your browser.
     4. Do your online shopping with over 3,700 retailers including Argos, Clarks, Ebay, GAP, M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Waitrose and many many more!
